Alex Ovechkin Met With Head Of Russian Olympic Committee On Wednesday

Washington Capitals Captain Alex Ovechkin met with the President of the Russian Olympic Committee, Stanislav Pozdnyakov, on Wednesday in Moscow.

Pozdnyakov presented talismans to Ovechkin as a gift. Ovechkin provided an autographed photo in return.

No specific details regarding Wednesday’s meeting with Pozdnyakov have been released.

Ovechkin was asked in a recent interview if he had any goals left for his hockey career.

“Victory at the Olympics is my immediate global goal.”
