Vegas Insider has just released the latest odds for the winner of the 2020-21 Hart Memorial Trophy. The Colorado Avalanche’s Nathan MacKinnon is the current favorite at +550. The Edmonton Oiler’s Connor McDavid has the second best odds at +600, meaning you would win $600 for every $100 you bet. Last year’s winner, Leon Draisaitl, currently has the 5th best money line at +1200.
The Capitals Alex Ovechkin, who has won the award three times, currently has the 14th best odds with a money line of +2,500, or 25 to 1. John Carlson’s money line is +7,000 and Nicklas Backstrom is a money line of +10,000, meaning you would win $10,000 for each $100 bet.

The Hart Memorial Trophy is awarded to the NHL player who is considered the most valuable player for their team, or in laymen’s terms the NHL’s MVP award. It is named after Dr. David Hart, who donated the award and was the father of Montreal Canadien coach Cecil Hart.
