Capitals Fans Line-up For New ‘Reverse Retro’ Jerseys

After “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday” came “Reverse Retro Jersey Tuesday” at Capitals team store locations throughout the DMV today, as eager Capitals fans lined up to get the latest Capitals jersey. The “Reverse Retro” jersey was officially made available to fans starting today.

Lines were long from the start of the day at the Capitals team store at MedStar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Virginia. (Store hoursMonday – Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)

(COVID Restrictions: Fans must create an account with the Team Store at Medstar Capitals Iceplex to shop due to COVID restrictions. You can create an account here.)

Lines were not nearly as bad at the Capitals team store at Capital One Arena. Jerseys were still available at the location when the store closed at 4:00 pm today. (Store Hours: Tuesday – Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

(COVID Restrictions: Only 25 fans will be permitted in the Team Store at one time.)

Regardless of the lines, the first few jerseys finally hit the streets, as eager fans scarfed up the first batch of jerseys available for sale.

First player jerseys available included Alex Ovechkin, Nicklaus Backstrom, Tom Wilson, T.J. Oshie and Jakub Vrana. Other players will become available over the coming days and weeks as the team continues to stock the jerseys.

The Reverse Retro merchandise is available online at the Monumental Sports & Entertainment Online Store. They are also available at the NHL online store.

Other “Scream Eagle” “Reverse Retro” products were also released today.

The Reverse Retro jerseys will be available exclusively at the Capitals team store at Capital One Arena and at MedStar Capitals Iceplex or online from December 1 until December 5.
