Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin and his family attended the Dynamo Moscow game on Sunday. His wife, Nastya, shared the day’s adventures on social media that included a familiar face opening the scoring for Dynamo.

Ovechkin led his oldest son, Sergei, through Dynamo Sports Palace to their seats. Former Capitals forward Dmitrij Jaskin scored a goal, giving Dynamo a 1-0 lead. Jaskin would score another goal in the 4-3 victory over CSKA.

Following the game the Ovechkin family visited with Dynamo winger and former Washington Capital Dmitrij Jaskin. Jaskin gave Sergei a stick, which was quickly modified to fit Sergei’s game.

Last Tuesday, Ovechkin watched Dynamo’s morning workout and practice.
He also did some skating with the team on Thursday.
