Washington Capitals’ head coach Todd Reirden met with the media this afternoon following the team’s game-day morning skate at the Ford Performance Centre in Toronto. Reirden provided an update on the Capitals current injuries.
Martin Fehervary, who was not on the ice for morning skate, remains out and will not play tonight.

Fehervary will miss his second consecutive game.
Backstrom was on the ice for the morning skate this morning. He has been going through concussion protocol since his injury in the first period of Game 1.
Reirden also spoke about the team and its current 3-1 series deficit.

The Capitals and Islanders square-off in Game 5 of their best-of-seven series tonight at 8:00 PM ET. The Islanders lead the series 3-1.
