Game 5 of Washington Capitals-New York Islanders To Start at 8 PM ET on Thursday

Game 5 of the first-round series between the Washington Capitals and New York Islanders will start at 8 PM ET at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Thursday, per the NHL. The game will air on NBCSN nationally and NBC Sports Washington locally.

 The National Hockey League today announced the following updates to the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs First Round schedule for Thursday, Aug. 20:

•   The start time of Game 5 between the New York Islanders and Washington Capitals is 8 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on NBCSN in the U.S. In Canada, the game will be on Sportsnet, CBC and TVA Sports.

•   The start time of Game 6 between the Calgary Flames and Dallas Stars is 10:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on NBCSN in the U.S. In Canada, the game will be on Sportsnet, CBC, Sportsnet 360 and TVA Sports.
