Nicklas Backstrom Will Not Play In Game 4 of First Round Series With The Islanders

The Washington Capitals have taken the ice for pregame warmups Tuesday night at Scotiabank Arena. However, Nicklas Backstrom did not participate in warmups and will miss Game 4 of the series.

Backstrom has been sidelined since the end of the first period in Game 1 of the series after taking a blind hit from Anders Lee.

Puck drop is set for just after 8:00 p.m. ET.
