It’s already getting feisty in Game 1. Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson dropped the gloves with New York Islanders captain Anders Lee in the first-round series at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

With 2:47 left in a very physical first period, Wilson and Lee engaged in fisticuffs.

Wilson and Lee were given five-minute fighting majors. Each player also amassed nine minutes’ worth of penalties just in the first 20 minutes.

Additionally, that was Wilson’s first fight in the postseason since the 2018 Eastern Conference Final against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
