Washington Capitals center Travis Boyd scored his first career playoff goal in the second round-robin game against the Philadelphia Flyers at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

After trailing 3-0, Boyd got his team on the board at the 8:49 mark in the final period from a deflected shot.

This marked his first career playoff goal.

Boyd replaced Lars Eller on the third line after Eller left the bubble on Wednesday for the birth of his second child.
