Capitals’ Round-Robin Game vs. Flyers Scheduled For 4 PM ET Start On Thursday

The NHL announced on Tuesday afternoon that the round-robin game between the Washington Capitals and Philadelphia Flyers at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto scheduled for Thursday will begin at 4 PM ET.

The national television broadcast information has not been released yet but this story will be updated when it does. NBC Sports Washington will broadcast the game in the Washington area.

The Flyers currently occupy the second seed in the Eastern Conference after their 4-1 win in their round-robin opener against the Boston Bruins on Sunday while the Capitals are third after their 3-2 shootout loss in their round-robin debut against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday.

The Flyers went 3-0-1 against the Capitals during the regular season and outscored them by a combined total of 12-4 in the final two games.

The Flyers will close out their round-robin tournament against the Lightning on Saturday while the Capitals will wrap theirs up against the Bruins on Sunday. Times and television programming have yet to be announced.
