Capitals’ T.J. Oshie Drops the Gloves With Lightning’s Yanni Gourde During Round-Robin Opener

It’s getting real now, folks. Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie dropped the gloves with Tampa Bay Lightning’s forward Yanni Gourde during the second period of Monday’s round-robin opener at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

With 5:22 left in the middle frame, Oshie and Gourde engaged in fisticuffs.

Each player took roughing and fighting penalties.
