John Carlson returned to practice on Saturday after sitting out practice on Thursday and having a team day off on Friday. Carlson left Wednesday’s exhibition game against the Carolina Hurricanes after taking an awkward fall into the boards midway through the third period.
The incident occurred with approximately 12 minutes remaining in Wednesday’s game:

Head coach Todd Reirden would not commit to Carlson being able to play in Monday’s playoff opener.
John Carlson participated in Saturday’s practice, per Reirden. Though, he will not commit to Carlson being able to play in Monday’s round robin game vs Tampa Bay.
