Tom Wilson Mic’d Up For Capitals Scrimmage

The Washington Capitals held their first intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday. While Team Red beat Team White, 3-1, the real highlight of the game was a mic’d up Tom Wilson.

The Capitals have been mic’ing up players during training camp in order to provide fans, prohibited from attending practices at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, a little more insight into the team’s preparations for the 2020 playoffs.

Wilson doesn’t disappoint with his in-game commentary.

The Capitals first gave us a mic’d up T.J. Oshie earlier this week.

The Capitals have one more week of practices before departing for their bubble in Toronto next Sunday, July 26. The team will play their lone exhibition game on Wednesday, July 29 against the Carolina Hurricanes before officially beginning their quest for a second Stanley Cup against the Tampa Bay Lightning on August 3rd.

Unfortunately their defense is not Stanley Cup worthy! Too much scuffling of the lines and cap room an issue to have the best defensive corp on the Ice this season.
