The NHL released game times for the first five days of the round-robin tournament and Stanley Cup Qualifiers on Tuesday evening. As reported earlier, the Washington Capitals will face the Carolina Hurricanes in their lone exhibition game leading up to the round-robin tournament.
The Capitals-Hurricanes game will be at 4 PM ET on Wednesday, July 29 in Toronto.
The NHL assigned exhibition opponents based on geography.
Here is the full exhibition game schedule, which will go through July 28-30 in Edmonton and Toronto, the two hub cities for the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs:
The Capitals’ first round-robin game against the Tampa Bay Lightning will be at 4 PM ET on Monday, August 3 in Toronto. Times for games after Wednesday, August 5 have not been announced yet.
Game 1 of the Carolina Hurricanes-New York Rangers Stanley Cup Qualifying series will kick off the tournament at 12 PM ET on Saturday, August 1. You can view the full qualifying round and round-robin tournament schedule below:
Teams will travel to Toronto and Edmonton on Sunday, July 26 for the final week of training camp before the puck drops for real.
