You’ve heard the saying: what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. According to The Athletic’s Jesse Granger, a new community in North Las Vegas is naming 30 streets after players from the Golden Knights‘ inaugural and historic 2017-18 season.

Developer Taylor Morrison’s division president James Gomez told The Athletic they wanted to “capitalize on all the excitement” the team brings to the area. “The community has been such an integral part of our growth and so supportive of our opening. The idea to name the streets after players’ names have created quite a buzz and we’ve already had a lot of interest from different prospects on what street they will buy on, based on their favorite players.”

Keep in mind, street names will only have the team and executives from the 2017-18 season that lead the expansion organization to its first Stanley Cup Final. The main street entrance into the new Palmer Ranch community, which is on the north side of Las Vegas Valley, will be named “Golden Knights Way”. Thirty private streets named after players, coaches, and management will follow. There are no reported street names for owner Bill Foley or for winger James Neal. Here is the full list of streets:

The Palmer Ranch community will open next month. “It’s our first Taylor Morrison product in Las Vegas, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting way to honor the city,” Gomez concluded.

Everyone except James Neal and their owner. (I’d rather see a street named for Neal than for Ryan Reaves.)

    Second Place Drive
