Looking for something fun to do while in quarantine? On a Post-it Note, try drawing an iconic hockey moment and see if your family and friends can guess what it is. This trend is making its way through the hockey world on Reddit and has over 500 comments on the original post. Here are just some of the best drawings.
Let’s start off the with original post. This drawing is of Bobby Orr’s famous Stanley Cup-winning “flying goal” in 1970, leading the Boston Bruins to sweep the St. Louis Blues and win their first Stanley Cup in 29 years.

This next one shouldn’t be too hard. Washington Capitals forward and Stanley Cup Champion T.J. Oshie chugs a beer through his jersey during his introduction at the Capitals’ Stanley Cup rally on June 12, 2018.

I couldn’t help but laugh at the following drawing. Remember back in January when Bruins forward Brad Marchand completely missed the puck during his shootout attempt and gave the Philadelphia Flyers a 6-5 win? This drawing captures that moment nicely. In the 2020 Winter Classic at the Cotton Bowl, Nashville Predators defenseman Ryan Ellis left just minutes into the first period after getting elbowed in the head by Dallas Stars forward Corey Perry. Perry received a five-minute major and was ejected. He was later suspended five games. Perry’s “walk of shame” quickly became the new meme of the new year.

The NHL’s Save of the Decade belongs to Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby. It was one of the most memorable moments from Game 2 of the 2018 Stanley Cup Final between the Capitals and Vegas Golden Knights. Holtby made the astonishing save on a shot by Golden Knights’ forward Alex Tuch. I’ll just let the drawing and the video do the talking.
