John Carlson Voted Second-Best Defenseman, Alex Ovechkin Voted Second-Best Follow on Social Media: Results from 2019-20 NHLPA Player Poll

Across the league, 588 NHL players were surveyed on various hockey-related questions ranging from on and off the ice topics to arenas and teams. These results were collected before the NHL’s pause of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Washington Capitals‘ defenseman John Carlson was voted the second-best defenseman and captain Alex Ovechkin was voted the second-best player to follow on social media. Here are the full results of the annual NHLPA Player Poll.
