As part of “Hockey Week in America” while the NHL is paused due to the coronavirus outbreak, NBCSN will re-air the Washington Capitals‘ Game 5 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2018 Stanley Cup Final, which clinched the franchise’s first Stanley Cup in their 43-year history at 9 PM ET on Thursday. The game continues a marathon of recent Stanley Cup-clinching games.
After dropping the series opener in a wild 6-4 affair at T-Mobile Arena, the Capitals won four straight games to win the series, including Game 5 by a 4-3 count. It was the longest losing streak that the Golden Knights’ had during their history to that point.

Following that, Game 6 of the 2016 and 2018 second-round series between the two teams will also be shown.
