2 goals on 35 shots… another 1 goal loss
Blackwood was a very hot goalie. In his 5 games prior to playing the Caps, he had a Goals against average of less than 1 goal.
I mean, without Ovechkin, our goal scoring output would be next to nothing. Kuzy, Backy, need to start firing more.
I confess to be VERY angry about this loss as in wasting Ovi’s and Carlson’s milestones since we lost the game thanks to not just one but TWO stupid late game penalties.
Agreed – I’d like to see Kempny sit a game out for his as punishment since we’re rotating defenders.
I would bench Kempny for tomorrow as his penalty basically cost the team the game.
