Ok so you do a story on this & everything else in NHL & AHL,but a Hershey Bear is named Player of the week for last week & nothing is said/written about on your site???! By the way player was Christian Djoos ,who had 7 points in three games,& helped push Bears to top spot in standings! You people in Washington might remember he’s the guy being banished to Hershey because he made you GM look bad at arbitration table!
Good morning, Scott. Hope all is well in Canada. The “award” you are referencing is a Bears sponsor (PSECU) award, which holds little value compared to the official league (AHL) awards. But we share your passion for Djoos, back-to-back games with three assists. When the league recognizes him, we will be sure to write about it.
Either way is it not little more important than Valentine card story? When I go back & do history search through this site hardly ever seen one story about his contribution either in Hershey or time with cap’s! You’ll “put over”(old professional wrestling term) other bottom three defense on Cap’s,but even on Prospect report you’ll probably only give B+ !!
We’ve got you down for wanting to see more Djoos stories, and you’re not a fan of Valentines Day. 👍👊
