Capitals Re-Work Power Play, Prepare For New Jersey Devils (Photos)

After a day off on Thursday, the Washington Capitals were back to work on Friday preparing for their next tilt on Saturday when they host the New Jersey Devils. Christian Djoos returned to skating and Capitals bench boss Todd Reirden made adjustments to the teams power play units and held typical practice-day scrimmages (more here). NoVa Caps photojournalist Joe Noyes was on hand to capture a few images this morning’s team workout at MedStar Capitals Iceplex.

About time that they make some changes to the power play. It has been the same for so long that there is enough film that teams started figuring it out 3 years age and more are doing it this year. Will be interesting to see what the changes are and how they work.
