On Monday, the Caps Kid Club had a fun experience at the Capitals Campfire and ice rink at The Wharf. Washington Capitals forward Jakub Vrana, Capitals analyst Alan May, and Capitals alumnus Peter Bondra were in attendance.

Kids participated in a holiday skate at the ice rink on Transit Pier. Vrana, May, Bondra, and Slapshot, the Capitals mascot, gave them some tips along the way. One of the novelties of the campfire is making s’mores, which the club and even Vrana enjoyed later on.

The Caps Kids Club is open to Capitals fans age 12 and under and lasts from October 2019-June 2020. For only $25, the annual membership features a one-of-a-kind membership kit, monthly newsletter, Caps ticket offers, and opportunities for exclusive Kids Club fun.

Open and free to the public, Capitals Campfire runs from December 5 to February 25. “Rock the Rink Skates” will be hosted by the team and include giveaways, beverages, and a DJ. These special events will be held on January 18, January 31, and February 17.
