On Monday, the Caps Kid Club had a fun experience at the Capitals Campfire and ice rink at The Wharf. Washington Capitals forward Jakub Vrana, Capitals analyst Alan May, and Capitals alumnus Peter Bondra were in attendance.
Kids participated in a holiday skate at the ice rink on Transit Pier. Vrana, May, Bondra, and Slapshot, the Capitals mascot, gave them some tips along the way. One of the novelties of the campfire is making s’mores, which the club and even Vrana enjoyed later on.

With the way @VranaJakub is playing, that goal differential is going to increase exponentially. Just keep shooting the puck, Jakub! I hope the PIMs will stay the same… https://t.co/1M7WAybePw
