Absolutely dreadful against CBJ. Hope the Caps don’t give us too many more STINKERS like that one. No redeeming factors from this game.

On to the next one. [But I’m ready for Travis Boyd to “draw back into the lineup” and I can think of 3 or 4 healthy scratches to take his place in the press box]

… and give Holtby a “mental health day” on WED vs BOS, Let’s have Ilya S. and see if he wants it a little more

Agreed. I chalk up last night’s loss to 3 things: 1. Coming off of a long road trip, 2. Wearing the alternate ‘throw back’ uniforms (most often not lucky for us), and 3. Most especially, the team just seems to do much better when Boyd is in the lineup. He had been doing so well personally, too.

I don’t believe in “trap games”, but it sure seams like there is something to it. Coming off a long road trip, first game back, big game later in the week, and…………whif.

It seemed like a trap. The only good thing about the game was getting my Backstrom elf bobblehead prior to it.
