Hathaway was given a match penalty after spitting on Ducks defenseman Erik Gudbranson during a brawl that broke out towards the end of the second period.
Reirden hinted there may be line shuffling later today or tomorrow morning.
Reirden said there’s no update on Hathaway’s situation yet. He did, however, indicate there may be some roster shuffling this afternoon. He wouldn’t be specific because he hasn’t talked to the affected players. So stay tuned. #Caps
