The Washington Capitals announced on Friday that this year’s edition of the “Courage Caps” shirts and hats are now available. This years hats are done in black and great camo, while the “ALL COURAGE” shirts feature distressed lettering on black and grey t-shirts. The shirts are also availabe up in 3/4 sleeve (baseball) versions.

The Washington Capitals, Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation and LiUNA – the Laborers’ International Union of North America – are teaming up to raise money for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), a nonprofit organization that cares for the families of America’s fallen heroes.
During the month of November, Courage Caps and shirts will be sold online at WashCaps.com/Courage and at the Team Stores at MedStar Capitals Iceplex and Capital One Arena. Courage T-shirts are available for $20 each, Courage Caps for $25 each and ¾ Sleeve Raglan Tees for $30 each.
The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors is the leading national organization providing compassionate care and survivor support services for the families of America’s fallen military heroes.
Since 1994, TAPS has offered support to more than 90,000 survivors of fallen military in the form of peer-based emotional support, grief and trauma resources, grief seminars and retreats for adults, Good Grief Camps for children, casework assistance, connections to community-based care, online and in-person support groups and a 24/7 resource and information helpline for all who have been affected by a death in the Armed Forces. Services are provided free of charge.
