Where can you find most of members of the 1980 Miracle on Ice hockey team in one place? To not just see but to meet and greet?  Answer: at the CSA Show held at the Dulles Expo Center on Sunday October 13, 2019.

CSA is a company that hosts Sports Autograph & Memorabilia shows.  They usually book sports celebrities from various sports to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans, as well as have dealers of sports memorabilia selling their goods on the convention floor.  As a rule, they generally host two shows per year at the Dulles Expo Center, with the show lasting for an entire long weekend, to include Friday evening.

The recent CSA show lasted from Friday October 11 through Sunday October 13. The members of the 1980 Miracle on Ice team were guests on Sunday.  Fans could purchase a “golden” ticket to get autographs of all team members appearing at the show, another “golden” ticket to appear in a photo with the team, or buy tickets for photo ops and autographs for individual team members.

Miracle on Ice team members who appeared were Bill Baker, Dave Christian (below, who had played several years with the Washington Capitals), Steve Christoff, goalie Jim Craig, Mike Eruzione (team captain), John Harrington, Steve Janazak, Mark Johnson, Rob McClanahan, Ken Morrow, Jack O’Callaghan, Craig Patrick (Assistant General Manager and Assistant Coach), MIke Ramsey, Buzz Schneider, Dave Silk, Eric Strobel, Phil Verchota, and Mark Wells.

In addition to posing and getting autographs from the 1980 Miracle on Ice team members, fans could meet retired football players and retired MLB baseball players. The Miracle on Ice hockey players were not the only hockey players to appear.  Alex Ovechkin also was a guest.
