On the way to Nashville Wednesday afternoon, ahead of Thursday night’s clash with the Predators, the Washington Capitals supported their fellow D.C. team by wearing Nationals T-shirts. The Nationals battle the Los Angeles Dodgers in a decisive Game 5 of the National League Division Series, tonight in Los Angeles. First pitch is 8:37 PM ET.

Capitals’ captain Alex Ovechkin threw out the first pitch during Monday night’s Game 4. The Nationals beat the Dodgers 6-1 and forced a critical Game 5 in the National League Divisional Series.

Wednesday night’s outcome will determine who advances to the National League Championship.

Capitals players, including John Carlson and Tom Wilson also took to social media to voice support for the Nationals:

Last weekend, Capitals players, including Braden Holtby, Nicklas Backstrom and Evgeny Kuznetsov, attended Games 3 and 4, both played in DC.

Even Captain, the Capitals’ team dog and veteran service dog in training, showed his support too.

Fans across the DMV will be watching Wednesday’s Game 5, hoping to move a step closer to bringing another championship to D.C.

Stay in the fight and let’s go Nats!
