McMichael recorded a pair of multi-point performances as the Knights recovered from a slow start to win both of their weekend matchups. The 6-foot, 181Ib. centre produced a two-goal effort on Friday as the Knights scored their first victory of the season in a 6-2 triumph over the visiting Erie Otters. McMichael recorded five shots on goal in the game and went 10-for-14 in the faceoff circle, book-ending London’s scoring with goals in the first and third periods. He proceeded to register a career-high five points in Saturday’s 7-3 road win over his former club, the Hamilton Bulldogs. McMichael recorded his second career OHL hat-trick along with two assists, capping his trio with a shorthanded goal beyond the midway point of the third period.
