Washington Capitals Schedule Up To Opening Night (Updated)

Training camp is now in full swing, which means that the upcoming season for the NHL and the Washington Capitals is rapidly approaching. Here is a list of all practice times and games that will take place between now and October 2, when the Capitals visit the defending Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues to open up the 2019-20 regular season.

Additional practice times will be released by the team in the coming days. We will continuously update as required.

Monday, September 23
10:30 a.m.: Groups Blue and Red practice (both rinks)

Tuesday, September 24
10:30 a.m.: Groups Blue and Red practice (both rinks)

Wednesday, September 25
10:15 a.m.: Game group morning skate (Capitals Rink, MedStar Capitals Iceplex)
8:30 p.m. ET: Washington at Chicago Blackhawks, United Center
TV: NBCSW

11 a.m.: Non-game group practice (Both rinks, MedStar Capitals Iceplex)

Thursday, September 26
Day off

Friday, September 27
11:30 a.m. ET: Game group morning skate (Enterprise Center)

Sunday, September 29 – Preseason Game – Washington Capitals at Carolina Hurricanes at 1:30 PM ET.

Tuesday, October 1 – Capitals Media Luncheon.
Deadline To Submit Opening Night Roster at 5 PM ET

Wednesday, October 2 – Opening Night Of 2019-20 NHL Season.
