The Washington Capitals released their roster for the 2019 Prospect Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee, which will take place from Saturday through Tuesday.

Notable players participating include 2019 first-round draft pick Connor McMichael, 2019 second-round pick Brett Leason, and 2018 first-round pick Alexander Alexeyev.
The Capitals’ prospects will play three games against the Carolina Hurricanes’ on Saturday, the Nashville Predators’ on Sunday, and the Tampa Bay Lightning’s. All of the games will be held at Ford Ice Center and will be streamed online.

The Washington Capitals will compete in a four-team prospect showcase to be held at Ford Ice Center in Antioch, Tenn., from Sept. 7-10. The 2019 Prospects Showcase will also feature top prospects from the Nashville Predators, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Carolina Hurricanes. Capitals prospects will face each team once in the round robin showcase.
The Capitals’ tournament roster includes prospects who are under contract and recent Capitals draft picks who have not been signed yet. In addition, several undrafted and free agent amateur players will participate. Each game will feature three 20 minute periods, followed by a shootout, regardless of the score. Video of each game will be lived streamed by visiting WashingtonCaps.com, as well as audio only broadcasts on Caps Radio 24/7. The Capitals will also hold practice on Sept. 6 and 9, both at 11 a.m.

Netminder Beck Warm will get another look by the #ALLCAPS. Warm, who hails from the WHL’s Tri-City Americans (partly owned by Olie Kolzig) had a very impressive development camp and dev. camp scrimmage. Will likely get middle game on Sunday.
