The Washington Capitals held their first morning skate of their four-game Eastern Conference road-trip at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh before they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7 PM on Tuesday night. Action from the Steel City can be seen on NBC Sports Washington or NBCSN for those outside of the DMV. NoVa Caps’ contributor Harrison Brown attended the Capitals’ morning skate at PPG Paints Arena on his annual road-trip with his dad and took pictures.

First, the Capitals will dress the same lineup they have used over their seven-game winning streak, which is tied with their season-high. They worked on their drills, including defensive zone exits and special teams.
