Fourteen-Game Point Streak, Eight-Game Win Streak: Hershey Bears Defeat Lehigh Valley Phantoms 3-2 in SO (Photos)

HERSHEY, PA — Well folks, you can read it all in the title. The Hershey Bears are still on a roll, and I’m sure we all hope they don’t slow down anytime soon. A crowd of 10,587 watched the Chocolate and White win this one in a skills competition all while ringing their cowbells (I think I can still hear them ringing).

Goals from Jayson Megna and Mike Sgarbossa put the Bears ahead in the second period, but the Phantoms would tie it with a minute left in regulation. Sgarbossa would then score the only goal in the shootout. Samsonov stopped 28 of 30 shots.
