ALLENTOWN, PA. — Unfortunately, the Hershey Bears five game win streak came to an end this evening, but the Chocolate and White managed to pick up a point on the night, extending their point streak to six games.
Hobbs scored the Bears’ lone goal in the first period, and the Phantoms would tie the game in third on a 5 on 3 power play. The Bears commanded most of the play, outshooting the Phantoms 41-27 at the end of the night, but the game came down to skills, and Greg Carey brought it home scoring the only goal in the shootout.
