The Caps win today despite especially bad PK, as in “IF (CapsPenalty) OpposingGoal++;” bad and an ineffective power play. (For those not familiar with the C programming language or C++ or Java or Javascript, penalty kill means automatic goal for opposition.) If not for special teams today, the score would have been 3-0. Yes, really. This was a game they won in a shootout which they should have won in regulation. I’ll take the win anyhow. But time for Caps to work on special teams, especially PK which was especially bad this weekend.
