Hershey Bears Drop Shoot Out to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (Photos)

HERSHEY, PA — I feel like I’ve been starting a lot of these recaps posts this way, but I’ll say it again, that was a tough one. The Bears were in Hershey taking on their rival the WBS Penguins. Hershey lead the entire game until the Penguins’ Ethan Prow would tie it at 4-4 with the extra attacker at 19:18. The Bears couldn’t get the job done on a power play in overtime and ended up losing in a nine-round shoot out to the Penguins.

The Bears lost 5-4 on Sunday, but they picked up three out of six points on the weekend. Just gotta keeping pushing forward boys. If you want to read more from tonight’s matchup, check out our full-game recap and keep scrolling for photos from the game.

Vitek leads the boys on to the ice.
Forward Grant Besse checks in to the lineup on recall from South Carolina.
Walker always pestin’ the young tendies.
Barber returns from Washington.
Megna gets the Bears on the board, scoring against his former club.
Blocker saves all day.
Question of the day: Is this a goal celebration or a fight? It’s both. Hockey is cool.
Tommy DiPauli, a former Caps’ prospect, chats it up with Riley Barber. DiPauli has certainly come back to haunt the Bears from the Penguins’ side.
O’Brien nets one.
And Mason Mitchell celebrates it with the boys on the bench.
All smiles for Lewington’s goal.
When you score from below the blue line by popping it off the goalie.
Right in the glove.
Heads up, pucks up.
Ugh, Wilkes-Barre ties it with a seconds remaining in the game.
Cramarossa comes down the ice to score the lone goal in the shoot out.
