HERSHEY, PA — After starting slow and eventually finding their stride, the Hershey Bears seem to have hit another bit of a roadblock, going 4-6-0-0 in their last ten games and losing the last two. The Bears started strong against the Thunderbirds with Nathan Walker scoring 50 seconds into the game. The second period saw another goal from Nathan Walker, but the Thunderbirds would add three to go up 3-2. Springfield would add another in the third and although, the Bears gave a valiant effort, they ended up losing 4-2.
The Bears will look for a rebound in one of the biggest games of the year – Teddy Bear Toss Night. I know it’s always so tense until they get that first goal out of the way. Hopefully, it comes early and the boys can settle in for a big win.
