Images From Washington Capitals Morning Skate at MedStar Capitals Iceplex

It kinda feels like a holiday, right? Magic is in the air. It is indeed October. Hockey is back! The Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals have the honor of kicking off the 2018-2019 season tonight when they host the Boston Bruins at Capital One Arena, but not before they raise their first championship banner to the rafters.

The Capitals held their first game day morning skate this morning at MedStar Capitals Iceplex. NoVa Caps photographer Joe Noyes was on hand to capture a few of the images from today’s historic events at the Capitals facility.
