Signed, Game-Used Nathan Walker Jersey is Being Auctioned Off By “Sisters In Stride”

That’s right, folks! If you’ve ever wanted to help a worthy cause and spoil your inner hockey fan in the same process, now is your chance! The Hershey Bears have donated a signed Nathan Walker jersey to “Sisters in Stride”, for auctioning off to the public.

“Sisters in Stride” was founded by two sisters who battled breast cancer together, as they were both diagnosed with the horrible disease less than two years apart from one another.

The money this Hershey Jersey raises will be donated to the sisters’ walking team, who do several cancer walks each year to raise money and awareness for a cure for cancer.

The Jersey has been labeled as game used, despite having tags on the sleeves and no signs of in-game damages. But its pristine condition makes it ripe for the picking, for anyone who’s looking to add a signed jersey to their collection.

Nathan Walker is currently lobbying for a spot on the Washington Capitals roster for the start of the 2018-19 season. He previously made the team in the 2017-17 season, before being picked up by Edmonton Oilers off waivers. The Oilers would then also place Walker on waivers, and Washington would reclaim him after only two games in Edmonton.

The Australian born forward spent the remainder of the regular season in Hershey before being on predominately healthy scratch for the Capitals in the playoffs. He did help the team beat the Pittsburgh Penguins in the second round, and was on the ice when the team hoisted the Stanley Cup.
