Capitals Release 2018-19 Promotional Schedule

The Washington Capitals released their promotional schedule on Monday afternoon including giveaways, the Stanley Cup banner raising on Opening Night, and theme nights. 

This years’ bobblehead night will be of Capitals’ center Evgeny Kuznetsov on Tuesday, March 26 against the Carolina Hurricanes. They will also give out a commemorative mini-book giveaway of the team’s championship season on November 5 against the Edmonton Oilers.

The team brought back the Christmas party celebration, which will happen on Friday, December 21 when the team hosts the Buffalo Sabres, and their “#CapsGiving” night on Wednesday, November 21 against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The team will also have their annual Fan Appreciation Night with the “Jerseys Off Our Backs Ceremony” on the final game of the season against former head coach Barry Trotz’s New York Islanders.

The Washington Capitals announced today the team’s promotional schedule for the 2018-19 season presented by Capital One Bank, highlighted by seven all-fan giveaways and multiple theme nights.

All fan giveaway highlights include a replica 2018 NHL Stanley Cup® Champion banner presented by GEICO to be distributed at the Capitals home opener vs. the Boston Bruins on Oct. 3, a 2018 NHL Stanley Cup® Champion logo schedule magnet presented by GEICO on Oct. 10 vs. the Vegas Golden Knights, a 2017-18 Season Commemorative Mini-Book on Nov. 5 vs. the Edmonton Oilers, winter gloves presented by Capital One on Jan. 14 vs. the St. Louis Blues, and an Evgeny Kuznetsov bobblehead presented by Capital One on March 26 vs. the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Nov. 5 2017-18 Season Commemorative Mini Book giveaway is a 32-page excerpt of the team’s official 128-page coffee table book, which is currently available to pre-order. Each season ticket account will be receiving a copy of the book.

The Capitals promotional calendar also features the return of the Caps Holiday Series including #Capsgiving and #CapsHolidayParty, each presented by Walmart.
