Capitals Prospects Prepare for Weekend Tournament With Tampa Bay Lightning and Nashville Predators Prospects

The Washington Capitals prospects took to the ice Friday morning at Germain Arena in Estero, Florida, to continue preparations for their weekend showcase. 

First and foremost, happy anniversary fellow Caps fans! Three months ago tonight, the Capitals won their first-ever Stanley Cup. It really needs to become an official holiday, forever.

We will NEVER tire of the celebrations.

 

PROSPECT TOURNAMENT
Three months to the magical day, the Capitals we’re back to work as the prospects began preparations for their weekend tournament in Estero, Florida. They will face the Tampa Bay Lightning and Nashville Predators prospects in a three-game set.

The Capitals brought 23 prospects to Florida for the weekend showcase.

The Capitals open their three-game set with a tilt against the Nashville Predators prospects Saturday at 1:00 pm, at Germain Arena in Estero. If you are in the area, the games are open and free to attend.
