The boys are back in town! Well, many of them. We still have a few players we are waiting for, but a majority of the big names have made their way back to Medstar Capitals Iceplex (Formerly Kettler Capitals Iceplex). News from the practice and a list of attendees can be found here. NoVa Caps photographer Joe Noyes stopped by Wednesday morning to check on the boys and grabbed a few images from the morning’s informal skate. Be sure to checkout Joe’s website here, and follow him on Instagram (here.)

About Jon Sorensen

Jon has been a Caps fan since day one, attending his first game at the Capital Centre in 1974. His passion for the Caps has grown over the decades, which has included time as a season ticket holder, social media and community organizer, and most recently led to the founding of NoVa Caps in 2014. Jon earned a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering at Old Dominion University, and is a Systems Engineer during intermissions, which has been instrumental in supporting his Capitals habit.

Last year, I was saying to trade Grubbie plus ??? for a young F maybe from Dallas… this year the Caps have to trade either Nisky if Bowey pans out or Holtby if Sammy works out… So here is my projection – Sammy works out well and the Caps trade Holtby and Conno for a young F out west. Maybe Edmonton or Van or Dallas
