After spending two days in Massachusetts with Blaine Forsythe and Brooks Orpik, and Friday in the Keystone State with Capitals equipment assistant Ray Straccia, the Stanley Cup visited Capitals’ owner Ted Leonsis in suburban Maryland on Saturday. (Reminder, you can find the latest schedule of dates for Capitals players “day with the Stanley Cup” right here. You can find links to each and every “day with the Stanley Cup” that has already occurred right here.)
Wedding, Elle Leonsis and Toby Helme, Potomac, Maryland
The Stanley Cup started the day by participating in the marriage ceremony of Ted’s daughter, Elle Leonsis. Elle and Toby Helme were married in Potomac, Maryland.
This is the second wedding in the last few days for the Stanley Cup. You may recall that Lane Lambert also married on his day with the Stanley Cup.

Private Event, Leonsis Residence, Potomac, Maryland
As one might expect, Mr. Leonsis was very low-key with his time with the coveted chalice. It was reported that Leonsis held a small gathering with a few friends and family, Saturday afternoon, at his residence in suburban Maryland. Here are a few of the images we were able to find.
