After spending Wednesday in Plymouth, Massachusetts with Capitals’ coach Blaine, Forsythe, the Stanley Cup remained in “the Bay State” for anther day with Capitals defenseman Brooks Orpik on Thursday. (Reminder, you can find the latest schedule of dates for Capitals players “day with the Stanley Cup” right here. You can find links to each and every “day with the Stanley Cup” that has already occurred right here.)
Home, Cohasset, Massachusetts
The Stanley Cup was first introduced to Orpik’s new wine cellar in his home. We will excuse Brooks for the one bottle of wine he has on the table. At least he didn’t drink it.
Later in the morning, Brooks’ daughter Harlow hit the ice cream jackpot. We also appreciate Brooks’ dog, who has assumed prime positioning for any potential “mishaps” that might occur.
Old Sandwich Golf Course, Plymouth, Massachusetts
Seabird Coffee, Cohasset, Massachusetts
Brooks brought the Cup to nearby Seabird Coffee from 11 a.m. to noon, for locals to catch a glimpse, and grab a photo with the Champion and the Stanley Cup.
Cohasset Police Station, Cohasset, Massachusetts

Cohasset Beach, Cohasset, Massachusetts
Next stop was a trip to nearby Cohasset Beach for a family photo session. Orpik’s daughters, Harlow and Brooklyn, were not around the last time Brooks won the Stanley Cup, so this day with the Stanley Cup has to be extra special for him.
The Green Light, Hingham, Massachusetts
Brooks also made a stop at The Green Light in a Hingham, Massachusetts. The Green Light is a health food and drinks shop, which we are pretty sure Brooks makes frequent stops at when he his home in Massachusetts.
Holly Hill Farm, Cohasset, Massachusetts
More healthy stops we’re in order for number 44, this time an organic farm in Cohasset.
Cohasset Golf Club, Cohasset, Massachusetts
Brooks and the Stanley Cup stopped at a second golf course for the day, this time it was the Cohasset Golf Club. He met with folks from his alma mater and the Boston College hockey program.
