Washington Capitals’ Massage Therapist Cleo Bates’ Has His Day with the Stanley Cup in Dallas, Texas

After spending the weekend in Arizona, the Stanley Cup visited Texas on Monday for a day with Capitals’ massage therapist Cleo Bates in Dallas, Texas. Bates joined the Washington Capitals for his first season as the team’s massage therapist. Prior to joining the Capitals, Bates worked as the massage therapist for the Dallas Stars for nine seasons.

A graduate of the Texas Massage Institute and a state-license therapist, Bates resides in Arlington, VA during the season, and Dallas, Texas, in the off-season.

The event also raised money for Jared Sandler’s The Sandlot Children’s Charity, which was officially launched today. Jared is the Pre and Postgame host/play-by-play alternate for the Texas Rangers on 105.3 The Fan.
