It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Well, one of them at least. It’s the week that Capitals players begin to trickle into town, and begin reporting to Medstar Capitals Iceplex (Formerly Kettler Capitals Iceplex).

This morning saw John Carlson, Nathan Walker, Jonas Siegenthaler and Tobias Geisser all report for a morning workout and conditioning session, also known as “Camp Nemo”, named for Capitals strength and conditioning coach Mark Nemish.

Look for additional players to slowly trickle in this week and next week. Training camp officially opens on September 13. The Capitals prospect tournament gets under way next Saturday, 9/8, in Estero, Florida. More here.

If you are thinking about visiting the Capitals practice facility for a practice or even for a day of training camp, you can find any information you need in our handy dandy guide right here.
