What other questions should we add/ask?

I am amazed at how many people want Orpik back when the entire season last year everyone wanted him gone. Too many good kids in the minors to bring back one of the statistically worst defenders in the league.

    • J says:

The people who wanted him gone are the “Kids living in mommies basement” who dont understand sports let alone hockey who only view hockey through the prism of Corsi and possession, shots attempted and other sabrmetrics&analytics. Just like the sabr clowns in baseball who think you just win by plugging in robots with high WAR numbers. Theres humans playing these games, theres a clutch factor, a intangible factor, a lockerroom factor.. all the analytics in the world cant measure.

Brooks may suffer over 82 games because hes big physical stay at home D that blocks shots and creates space, but as proof last postseason when he came up big and had the best +/- on the caps. In the playoffs its a dirty, defensive minded game. You need a Orpik atleast 1 to remove Hornqvists and those goalie agitators from sitting on top Holtby. He was a huge reason caps won as any if some dont want to give the man his due.

  3. Stephanie says:

Can someone please tell Uncle Ted to provide some porta potty’s next year for viewing parties?? Muriel bowser did a great job with the parade, but no one on ted’s team thought of the fans who sat outside for 4-6 hours. Thanks!

  4. Cindy sheffield says:

The way the team shared this with the fans and how the fans behaved……just perfect!!!

Don’t understand why Peter Bondra nor Olie Kolzig jerseys have not been retired.
