Chris Patrick’s Day with the Stanley Cup: Visits to Piney Orchard, Severn School and Severna Park Taphouse

After spending a day with Mark Nemish in Northern Virginia on Sunday, the Stanley Cup crossed the river to Maryland for the Capitals’ Director of Player Personnel Chris Patrick’s day with the cup. 

The day started with a stop at the Capitals former practice rink in Piney Orchard, followed by stops at the Severn School and the Severna Park Taphouse. (You can review our updated list of dates for Capitals players “day with the Stanley Cup” right here.)

Piney Orchard
The Cup was on display at Piney Orchard Monday morning for Metro Hockey folks. We were unable to confirm if the Cup was placed in George McPhee’s old office, But we would like to think so.

Ummmm.

The Severn School
The next stop for the day was the Severn School, located in Severna Park, Maryland. The Severn School is a private, coeducational college preparatory school for students preschool through grade twelve.

Severna Park Taphouse
The final stop for the day was the Severna Park Taphouse. The Taphouse was closed all day on Monday for the private event. Attendees at the event report that former Washington Capital Mark Tinordi also attended the event.
