The trailer for the DVD on the Washington Capitals‘ run to the Stanley Cup is now on iTunes. The film will come out on Tuesday, July 31.

Above is the trailer prior to the Capitals and Vegas Golden Knights matchup in the Stanley Cup Final, which could include some things that will be in the DVD.

The trailer for the movie starts out by showing sites from around Washington D.C. Later on Capitals’ players such as forward Devante Smith-Pelly, who scored seven playoff goals (three in the final), defenseman John Carlson, who led all NHL defenseman with 68 points this past season and signed an eight-year contract extension worth $64 million ($8 million AAV) on June 24, captain Alex Ovechkin, who led the playoffs with 15 goals and won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP, and center Nicklas Backstrom were shown talking in the trailer. NBC Sports Washington broadcasters Craig Laughlin and Joe Beninati also appeared talking about the Capitals’ magical spring.

The Capitals defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets in six games after losing the first two games on home ice in Round 1, the then-defending back-to-back Stanley Cup Champions Pittsburgh Penguins in six games in Round 2, and the Tampa Bay Lightning in seven games in Round 3 before beating the Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final.
