Kempny then placed the Cup in his new Mustang GT (a gift he and Jakub Vrana each received from a Ford dealer in the Czech, Republic) and drove to Winter Stadium in his hometown for his 12:00 noon appearance there.  Winter Stadium was where he played his first organized hockey. He had played there during his youth hockey days with SHK Hodonin.

Kempny arrived at the arena, took the stage and raised the Cup upwards for all the gathered to see as they showed highlights of  his career.   He signed pictures for the fans lined up to see him.

He proceeded to DRFG Arena Brno for his 5:00 p.m. appearance where he had played seven years with HC Kometa Brno, a team in the Czech Extraliga, the highest-level ice hockey league in the Czech Republic.

His day concluded with a private party among family and friends, to include drinking wine out of the Stanley Cup as Southern Moravia is a wine country.  When his celebration was over, he displayed a final video, with a final comment, “We had a great time so hope you will too, Jakub Vrana.”

That concludes Michal Kempny’s day with the Cup, covering an barbeque and visits to two arenas where he spokes to fans and signed autographs.
