Dowd, 28, recorded three goals and four points in 56 games with the Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks. All three of his goals came in his 40-game tenure with the Canucks.
In 2016-17, Dowd tallied six goals and 22 points in 70 games with the Kings. He was a -15 that season.
The Kings traded Dowd to the Canucks in exchange for defensive prospect Jordan Subban on December 8.
Drafted in 2014 after a disappointing Conference tournament loss by LA (where all Huskies go.) Spent three seasons with Manchester and Ontario. Got some ice time in LA and Vancouver. Expect him to be a bottom six center and probably some time in Hershey.

I just hope whoever is the 4th line Center is a Faceoff god and Pk beast, caps dont have a lot of faceoff guys other then Backy now and he cant take every draw. Eller is ok but Beagle was automatic almost
Yeah, that’s going to be the big question, where do they find extra faceoff wins. Beags was HUGE on defensive zone draws.

I dont see the need for Dowd when we have lots of young guys like Walker, Boyd, CS,…
Probably more of a Hershey fit.
